Barbara Vos (1980, Emmen) graduated in 2003 as an interior architect and in 2010 as Industrial Designer
at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, The Netherlands.

After a year of travelling she established in 2004 her own design studio
Barbara Vos, interior and products.
Besides her work she was studying at the Post Graduate Course Industrial Design
at the Royal Academie of Art, which she recently finished with succes.
She is working on a variety of different disciplines such as fashion, interior, furniture and products. Her work shows her passion for round organic shapes, vibrant colours, curved lines and special materials.
She uses new materials with old techniques or old materials in a new way. A lot of her designs are inspired by her childhood, making drawings with buttons on the floor at her grandmother’s house. As well as being innovative and eye catching, her ideas are practical and functional, aiming to solve the given problem.
